MINUTES OF THE NH WHEELERS CHAPTER

NH Wheelers Chapter Meeting

February 14, 2010  at Weathervane Restaurant, Bedford, NH

 

Meeting opened by President Janice Murray at 1:05p.m.

 

Roll Call: 14 member families present

Guests: Peggy, friend of Mike Berwicks

 

Minutes of the last meeting were read  Motion to accept as read by Armand Pinard seconded by Bill Rundgren-passed.

 

Treasurer’s report was read.   Motion to approve report as read made by Bill Rungren, seconded by Richard Spofford-passed

 

No New applications for membership.

 

Correspondence:

Received an email from Toothakers, they are in Ottawa.

Lawsons are in Florida - cold down there but still loving it.

Marie Allen is in Florida - freezing - sends her love.

 

Reports of Committees:

Web Master (new committee), Jim Belanger- not present, but sent word that we are paying 75.00 to keep our web address of NHWheelers.com instead of the $100 we have been paying. If you have any additions or corrections please contact Jim.

 

Wagon Master, Elliot Farnsworth , One month to the deposit deadline for Mile-a-way CG.  Reminder email will be going out on this item.  The 2010 camping schedule is on the web site.. Additional RV show at Foxboro MA on March 12-14.  General comment from attendees to RV shows so far:  Rigs are being downsized, fewer class A’s, many tag-alongs and Teardrops.

We are looking for Trailmasters for each campout - if interested, please contact Elliot.

Dave and Janice Bonneau/Murray are Trail Masters for July at Salmon Falls.

 

Octoberfest Committee: Plans are progressing nicely, decorations on order, Theme will be a True Octoberfest.  Look for a German themed recipe for the Pot Luck Supper,  still deciding on the main dinner menu.  Should be plenty of Beer, beer, and more Beer.  We may be joined be two other GS Clubs.

 

Unfinished Business Waiting to receive Erin McLeans Good Sam number so she can become an honorary member of our group.

 

New business: We will be ordering additional Wheeler shirts for those who don’t have one. 

Motion made by Armand Pinard for club to pay $5.00 towards each new shirt.  Seconded by Diane Fortin-passed

Members cost will be $17.00, please get your size desired and check  to Linda Spofford.

 

Announcements: Happy Birthday to Erin McLean, Sally Hunneyman, and Marilyn Brown

 

Next meeting date: March 14 at 1 pm at the Weathervane Restaurant, Bedford, NH.

 

Motion to adjourn made by Bill Rundgren seconded by Armand Pinard – passed at 1:40 pm

 

 

Raffle Drawings:  50-50 won by Linda Spofford

$10.00 Meal Ticket for next Meeting won by Margie Rowe (she will not be present at next meeting, so she wanted the money put back into the club treasury)
