July 2008 President's Comments:

Hello to all, the chapter had a great camping weekend at Walnut Grove as always. The weather was great. My hat of to Sheila, and all that organized the weekend. For you that missed the weekend you missed out on a fun time. I hope that Frank Drouse can get his rig running for our next weekend. Give it a good kick Frank that seems to always work. Also I hope that the Porazzo's get their rig repaired so we see them at our next outing.  Congrats to Bill Fairbanks for his victory in the RC Car Races. I think he has to get insurance for collision as he did run into Russ Mclean RC truck. It appears that Diana, and Priscilla still can jump rope. Also Jeanne, Diana, and Priscilla still remembered how to do that string thing that you do with both hands with two people. It was great to see the Clarks at their first camp out as new Wheelers members welcome aboard. Most of us were tested to see if we would be able to build hand gliders and fly them. Most of them were flying pretty good. A few of us got a little wet from the water gun fights and the water balloon toss. The pool was around 80 degrees and got a lot of use. Armand as always had a great campfire on Friday and Saturday night. Thanks to Jim for getting the pictures on the web page for all to see. The bulletin board was a great success if you wanted to know what time something was going off all you had to check the board. I hope to see all at the Vermont Samboree, if not for sure at the NH Samboree, they are both the next outings in August. The Wheelers are in charge of the horse shoe tournaments. Also helping with the table set up and tear down in the function buildings. A lot of going on will be happening. So come to the NH Samboree and lend a hand if you have a chance. Well I think I have said enough. As always thanks to all for your help and keep the faith.
